چکیده
This paper deals with discrete-time stochastic descriptor (singular) systems with instantaneous and multi-time delayed measurements. The estimability condition of the descriptor systems involving delayed measurements is given. Using the measurements reorganization approach, the optimal Kalman lter and corresponding estimate error covariance are derived. Furthermore, an algorithm for the linear unbiased minimum variance state estimation is given. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the given algorithm. Copyright c 2005 IFAC

Stabilization of chaotic systems via fuzzy time-delayed controller approac
In this paper, we investigate the stabilization of unstable periodic orbits of continuous time chaotic systems usingfuzzy time-delayed controllers. For this aim, we present a control method that can achieve stabilization of an unstableperiodic orbit (UPO) without any knowledge of the system model. Our proposal is attained progressively. First, wecombine the input-to-state linearizing controller...
متن کاملPartial Eigenvalue Assignment in Discrete-time Descriptor Systems via Derivative State Feedback
A method for solving the descriptor discrete-time linear system is focused. For easily, it is converted to a standard discrete-time linear system by the definition of a derivative state feedback. Then partial eigenvalue assignment is used for obtaining state feedback and solving the standard system. In partial eigenvalue assignment, just a part of the open loop spectrum of the standard linear s...
متن کاملMulti-Area State Estimation Based on PMU Measurements in Distribution Networks
State estimation in the energy management center of active distribution networks has attracted many attentions. Considering an increase in complexity and real-time management of active distribution networks and knowing the network information at each time instant are necessary. This article presents a two-step multi-area state estimation method in balanced active distribution networks. The prop...
متن کاملA descriptor system approach to H∞ control of linear time-delay systems
The output-feedback control problem is solved for continuous-time, linear, retarded and neutral type systems. A delay-dependent solution is obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using a descriptor model transformation of the system and by applying Park’s inequality for bounding cross terms. A state-feedback solution is derived for systems with polytopic parameter uncertainti...
متن کاملOptimal Control for Descriptor Systems: Tracking Problem (RESEARCH NOTE)
Singular systems have been studied extensively during the last two decades due Abstract to their many practical applications. Such systems possess numerous properties not shared by the well-known state variable systems. This paper considers the linear tracking problem for the continuous-time singular systems. The Hamilton-Jacobi theory is used in order to compute the optimal control and associa...
